ABOUT

I believe design isn’t about things; but rather the relationships surrounding them. Design is negotiation, a constant mediation between analysis and synthesis.  It is a process of intelligent trade-offs in which beauty is only achieved through a masterful arrangement of delicate compromises.

Since graduating from design studies at OCAD University in 2004 I have been active in the design community, consulting as a product designer, creative director, design strategist, speaker, and sessional design instructor.  To date, I have had the great fortune to apply my design thinking to the markets of consumer electronics, biomedical, and children’s toys: home furnishings, promotional materials, and transportation.

I am a professional member of the Association of Chartered Industrial Designers of Ontario (ACIDO).
